A word on neutrality. On this site we don't place sales links for financial products or financial affiliate links. We do run general ads to help cover a little of the cost of keeping the site going, but we've set things up to exclude the finance category (banks, securities, FX, loans, crypto) from what's served. All of the assumptions used in the calculations are laid out on the Assumptions page. The numbers shown are only rough guides. There are surely factors we haven't fully accounted for — taxes, exchange rates, inflation, and so on. In the end, we'd be glad if you make the call based on your own situation.
